Forn Sidr of America Welcomes New Leadership

We are excited to welcome three new members to our leadership: Alexandra Ravenscroft as our Acting Gudellri (Head Clergy), Kissi Frost as a Religious Education Advisor, and Sebastiane Ketsl as our newest Director on the Council.

Alexandra Ravenscroft

As our first Gudellri, Alexandra Ravenscroft oversees the development of educational resources, Hof infrastructure, and spiritual services. Alexandra holds a Master of Divinity degree from Naropa University and a B.A. in Religious World History from Oklahoma State University. She has professional experience in religious education and has been facilitating spiritual rites and services for over 6 years.

Kissi Frost

Kissi Frost joins us as a Religious Education Advisor. Kissi is the last surviving Matriarch of her family’s long lineage of Danish Heathenry. She represents her mother, the late Dr. Shelly Nordtorp-Madson, who upon her death bequeathed the Nordtorp lineage to Forn Sidr of America for the purpose of creating an American Heathen lineage. Kissi holds a B.A. in Studio Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design with additional Minors in Art History and Religion from Hamline University. She has over 5 years of teaching experience in art, performance, and language. She also brings her skills as a translator of Scandinavian languages.

Sebastiane Ketsl Ravenscroft

Sebastiane Ketsl Ravenscroft is our newest Director. Sebastiane contributes their wide variety of expertise to the administrative management and development of Forn Sidr of America. They will also be facilitating advocacy and inclusion for BIPOC and LGBTQ2+ in our community with the establishment of advisory committees. Sebastiane has over 15 years of nonprofit experience in addition to experience with community building and is currently pursuing their PhD in Behavioral Psychology. Prior to this, their career was focused on the psychological effects of generational trauma. They also currently serve as chairperson for their local Pride.

We welcome them to Forn Sidr of America and are excited for the expertise, skills, and contributions they will make to our community.
